Shipped the dashboard refactor end-to-end across staging and production. The two-day overrun came from cache-layer and TTL-drift fixes the estimate missed, unblocking them prevented a class of latency bugs across every environment. High impact (4/5). Still tracking TTL stragglers in the EU region, closing out this week.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about Bloomly.

    What is Bloomly?
Bloomly is an iPhone career journal that helps ambitious professionals capture work accomplishments and turn them into performance-review reports, brag docs, resume bullets, and interview stories.
Did you rename from Bloom to Bloomly?
Yes. We launched as Bloom and rebranded to Bloomly in May 2026. Same team, same app, same mission, with a name that's uniquely ours. If you used Bloom before, your account, journal entries, and subscription all carry over automatically.Read the rename note
    What is career journaling?
Career journaling is the practice of regularly logging your professional accomplishments, projects, feedback, and wins. It makes your work visible at the decision points that matter (performance reviews, negotiations, interviews, resume updates) so you're not the only one who remembers what you did.
How does Bloomly generate performance reports?
Bloomly turns your journal entries and artifacts into polished performance summaries automatically. You choose a date range and cadence (weekly, mid-month, semi-annual, or annual) and Bloomly generates a report with highlights, themes, and talking points. Reports also draw on the working context built from everything you've captured — projects, themes, and ongoing threads — so they know the backstory behind a quarter, not just what happened inside the date range.
Can I use voice to create journal entries?
Yes. Tap the microphone and start talking. Bloomly transcribes in realtime so your words appear as you speak, and you can append more voice clips to a single entry as the day unfolds.
    How do Artifacts work?
Artifacts are work evidence you save without writing an entry. Share a screenshot, link, image, PDF, or file to Bloomly from any app with the iOS share sheet, forward a praise email or shipped announcement to your personal @in.bloomly.cc address, or drag a file into the web app at app.bloomly.cc. Each artifact is summarized automatically, filed under the right role, and ready as evidence when you generate a performance report. Artifacts is a Bloomly Pro feature.
Can I ask Bloomly questions about my work?
Yes. Type a question into the journal search bar — “what are my strengths this quarter?”, “when did I last lead a launch?” — and Bloomly answers from your own entries, citing the specific entries behind every claim. You can also type commands like “make my reports weekly” and Bloomly makes the change, with confirmation before anything is saved.
How does Bloomly keep answers honest?
Every answer is grounded in your journal. Claims cite your entries, and Bloomly tells you how much of your record it has analyzed — “based on 40 of 200 entries” — instead of guessing. If your record is still thin, it says so plainly and tells you what to capture next.
    Does Bloomly use my resume?
Optionally. Add your resume in Edit Profile and reports and insights understand your background — the experience and skills you bring, not just the entries you've made since installing.
Is my data private and secure?
Yes. Your data is stored locally on your device and optionally synced to our encrypted cloud database. All data is transmitted over HTTPS, API keys are stored server-side only, and we never sell or share your personal information. You can delete your account and all data at any time.
Do I get a free trial?
Eligible new subscribers who choose the annual plan receive a 7-day free trial. The weekly plan is charged immediately and does not include a free trial. The App Store shows the exact terms before you subscribe.
What if I change my mind?
You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings. If you cancel during your free trial, you won't be charged. No questions asked.
